Christmas Party Arrangements
19th December is Party Day and visit from Father Christmas. The arrangements for each class are left with the class teacher, so if you are able to help in any way please let your child’s teacher know.
Christmas Disco
Thursday 15th December
The infant disco will be from 4.00 – 5.p.m.
Junior disco is from 5.30 – 6.30 p.m. Entrance Fee is 50p. There will be refreshments on sale
20th December School closes at 3.15 p.m. for Christmas Holiday.
4th January Teacher Training Day
5th January Children return to school.
Lost Property
We have a large amount of items in our lost property. These will be displayed during the last week of term in the reception area. Could parents please label all items as this helps us to return them promptly.
Parent Helpers
Thank you to parents who have come into school and helped, we are looking for any parents to help us out listening to children read. For further details please see Miss Sherlock.
Decorate the Tree
Your child may wish to bring some tinsel or a non returnable plastic tree decoration (no glass please) to decorate our Nursery tree.
Mince Pie Celebration
Parents are welcome to join nursery children on Friday 16th December at 11.00 a.m. and 2.45 p.m. to listen to the children sing Christmas songs. There will be mince pies and refreshments afterwards.
Nursery Items
Starting from 6th January 2006 children will need shorts in kits as well as pumps. There is no need to bring a T-Shirt, children can wear their school polo shirts. We will be using large apparatus in the school hall so for safety issues, no skirts, dresses and trousers. Can you please make sure you remove all jewellery from your child on Tuesdays for P.E.

Christmas Fair
Thank you for all your support last Friday. The Fair was a great success and we raised over a £1000.00. The money will be put into school fund and will be used to help subsidise educational visits. I know it was very crowded and we will use more areas of the school next year!!!

Christmas Concerts
This year the children are doing two performances of the same concert because of Health & Safety considerations. The performances will be on Wednesday 14th December at 2 p.m. and Thursday 15th December at 9.30 a.m. You are very welcome to join us for ONE of the performances. We will be holding a raffle at each of the concerts. Tickets will be on sale at 20p each. Proceeds will go to the Compton Hospice.
Attendance Award Assembly
This is for pupils only and will take place on Monday 19th December at 9.00 a.m. Our congratulations go to all our pupils who have gained a Bronze Award.
Blue Peter Appeal
A big thank you parents and children who brought their unwanted mobile phones and coins in to school. These have all been sent off to the Blue Peter Appeal.
