Friends of Uplands Manor Primary School.

We are holding a family Skittles Evening

On Thursday 6^th March from 7.00 – 9.00 p.m.  This is our first event and it promises to be an enjoyable evening of light hearted fun.  Refreshments will be available (sorry folks, no alcohol) during the evening.  The event will be held in the

downstairs halls, allowing easy access for everyone.  Ticket prices are: Adults £2.00, Children £1.00.  Family (2 adults, 2 children £5.00). Tickets are available at the school office.

Book Fair

In a short while our Book Fair is arriving.  We hope you will support us by visiting the Book Fair, in the School Hall, and buying from the huge selection of books on offer.  The fair arrives on Thursday

13^th March and will be open each day from 3.15 p.m.  The last day for buying will be

Wednesday 19^th March.  You may redeem

your World Book Day Voucher at this fair.  One voucher per child.

Decorate an Egg Competition

Children from Year 2 to Year 6 are asked to decorate an egg.  The completed eggs need to be in school by the morning of Wednesday 19^th March.  Prizes will be awarded during the Easter assembly.

Easter Assembly

This is to be held on Thursday 20th March at 9.30 a.m. in the upstairs hall.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

Easter Bonnet Parade

Nursery, Reception and Year 1 will be having an Easter Bonnet Parade on Wednesday 19^th March.

Attendance Award Assembly

This is for pupils only, and will take place on Wednesday 19th March at 1.15 p.m.  Our congratulations go to all our pupils who have gained Bronze and Silver Awards.

Breakfast Club

We have 2 places available.  Forms can be collected from the school office for any parents who wish their child to attend this club.

Healthy & Safety Issues

• Parking During the hours of 8.00 – 4.00 p.m. parents SHOULD NOT park on the visitors car park at the front of the school or on the Thompson Road Car Park. The car parks are for staff and official visitors only. 
• Nursery Equipment. Please discourage your children from playing on the equipment in the nursery playground when they are coming into school at the beginning of the day and also at the end of the day.
